Program
The PPGCAS is an academic master’s degree in applied health sciences. It aims to train professionals for teaching and research, expanding scientific knowledge in pathophysiology and in the relationship between health, nutrition and the environment. The program seeks to train students to work in teaching and research, contributing to scientific and economic development. The mission of the PPGCAS is to train professors and researchers with knowledge in sciences applied to health, capable of conducting interdisciplinary research and contributing to a multidisciplinary vision of health, encouraging academic continuity and health promotion. The graduate must be a professional with interdisciplinary technical and scientific knowledge, able to teach and research, and to work in extension projects. The lines of research investigate the pathophysiology of diseases and the nutritional and environmental aspects that interfere with health and have a multiprofessional faculty staff.
